To ensure everyone has fun and a chance to sing we use a round robin order. Performers sign up for their song(s). The first song they sing is the where their name gets put into the rotation. If this is a duet or group, all names get added to order list.
As the rotations progress and new singers come in, their first song goes in towards the top of the current rotation but their place in the rotation is at the bottom. It may push the singers that have sung down the list a bit until the new person sings. This lets the new person sing at least once and allows them to add a song in a later rotation.
